Alpaca provided the mechanical engineering
for the HVAC systems on this significantproject.This new hotel
has 12 stories and a service basement. The HVAC system used
water-source heat pumps in all areas. The guest rooms were
the stacked wall-mounted type, each having individual cooling
controls. The central cooling towers, boilers and pumps were
located on the oof. The total system provides 600 tons of
cooling.
