Fire Station No. 5

Client:
Tackett-Lodholz Architects, Inc. - Houston
This
project is a new fire station for The Woodlands containing
three truck bays and all supporting facilities. The facility
is fully fire sprinkled and utilizes an emergency generator.
Additionally, a vehicle exhaust extraction system was utilized
to remove exhaust gases from the truck bays during vehicle
operation. The system incorporated quick-release devices to
allow vehicles to drive out with system connected.

County ESD #10 Fire Station
Austin, Texas
Client:
Travis County ESD # 10 - Austin
Alpaca provided full MEP engineering services
on this new central fire station. The facility includes five
truck bays, sleeping quarters, training room, multiple office
areas, dayroom with full kitchen, and mechanic work areas.
The station is fully sprinkled and has an emergency generator.

Westlake
Fire Station No. 2
Westlake, Texas
Client:
ESD #9 and Allan Nutt Architects, Inc.- Austin
This project included adding two truck bays,
a new kitchen, dayroom, sleeping quarters and a large training
room to the existing facility. Entire building is fire sprinkled.
An emergency generator was provided with significant re-circuiting
of existing equipment. All construction work was required
to be completed while the station remained in operation.
